The District 10 College Scholarship Program, created by Councilman John G. Clamp, is the first scholarship program offered to high school seniors that live in City Council District 10. This scholarship program is intended to recognize and award seniors that have actively pursued community service while maintaining academic success.

The District 10 College Scholarship Program is open to all district 10 high school seniors planning to attend a two-year or four-year college beginning in the fall 2009 semester. Six students will be selected to receive a laptop computer, software and accessories valued up to $1,500.
“Education is the cornerstone of our society. We must impress upon the youth of our city the importance of higher education and its role in helping achieve the American dream,” said Councilman Clamp.
Students that wish to apply for the District 10 Scholarship will be required to submit a scholarship package and meet eligibility requirements. For more information about the District 10 Scholarship Program, visit www.sanantonio.gov/council/d10/index.asp.
